Hello, my name is Calvin! I'm a sweet boy with a gentle and shy demeanor. I am about a year old and weigh 50 pounds. Apparently, I’m a gorgeous chocolatey muffin if you listen to the nice volunteers here at the rescue!

I'm looking for a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and cared for. I am a bit submissive and unsure of new things and people, but I'm a pleaser and I want to trust you. I perk up and get all playful with toys when I feel safe, and I release them nicely when it’s time. I just need a leader to rely on, and an adopter who has the time and patience to help build my confidence. Are you the one I have been waiting for?

It’s important I think to have another friendly dog in the home, I open up more and really find my confidence when they are around. I love to play with other dogs and am all soft and loose.

I will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old with my shy nature. I just know I will blossom in the right, loving home. Oh, how I wish for a family to love me.
