Meet Paulette!
Paulette is a 4-year-old, 35-pound hound mix with the sweetest soul. She can be shy around new people at first, but after she feels safe, she blossoms into a loyal and loving companion.
Paulette is fully house trained and crate trained, and she’s quiet as a mouse at night. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine friend to help show her the ropes. Paulette also lives peacefully with a cat in her foster home.
This gentle girl prefers the company of women and would do best in a calm, low-traffic home without a lot of visitors. Because she’s sensitive to new people and environments, a quieter household will help her feel safe and relaxed.
Paulette enjoys dog toys, chewing on bones, going for walks, and curling up on the couch with her foster mom. She’s a sweet, special girl looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and love she needs to truly shine.
Could you be Paulette’s happily ever after?
If you are interested in adopting Paulette, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
