Meet Fiore, a 10-pound, 6-year-old Terrier with a heart full of love (and a little extra pep in his step)! When Fiore first arrived as a stray, he was incredibly fearful of humans and didn’t want anything to do with us. It was clear he had been through a lot, and he needed time and patience to feel safe. With gentle care and consistency, he slowly began to open up — revealing the sweetest, most affectionate cuddle bug. Now, Fiore adores being pet and will happily curl up in your lap for hours. He’s the ultimate snuggle buddy and just wants to love and be loved in return.
Fiore is house-trained and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He lights up when he’s outside, running around and playing with his canine friends, and will break out into joyful zoomies when he gets excited. Though he’s still working on his leash training, he’s eager to learn and will thrive with a patient adopter who can help him continue building confidence. He’s come a long way already and just needs someone willing to guide him the rest of the way.
While Fiore does have a grade 5 heart murmur, you’d never guess it — he plays, cuddles, and enjoys life just like any other happy pup. He doesn’t let it slow him down and continues to live each day with joy and affection. Fiore is proof that with love and trust, even the most fearful dogs can become the most loyal companions. Now, he’s ready for his forever home — could it be with you?
Adoption fee is:$400
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
