This helps Brooklyn Animal Action with pet care costs.
Meet Muffin! Muffin has gone through such a transformation during his time indoors. He came to his foster terrified, hissing and spitting. While he slowly warmed up, he still got easily overstimulated when pet. However, after a few months of realizing that he was safe, and with the help of his sister, Tofu and the resident cat, he is officially realizing that being pet is awesome and humans are pretty cool, too!
While he’s still shy and may take some time and patience to warm up to you, once he gets to know you, he is a wonderfully devoted cat. He will likely sleep next to you at night, or at least jump on the bed for pets once you wake up. He answers to his name, and stops what he’s doing if you call his name while he’s being naughty. His main love language is play, if he’s being shy or scared, pull out a cat dancer or other wand toy, and he will slowly emerge as playtime is his very favorite thing. Once he gets into it, he will perform! Olympic jumps and twists in the air, grabbing for the toy at unbelievable heights. Muffin loves playing with his human or with his sister, Tofu and he also can spend long stretches entertaining himself with toys or carrying a sparkly puff ball in his mouth. Muffin is a long, lanky, handsome boy!
Other playful cats give Muffin confidence, so he needs to be adopted into a house where he can have a friendly companion. If you’re looking to adopt a pair, his sister Tofu is also up for adoption (listed separately) and they make a hilarious duo. Muffin would do fine with teens and adults (younger kids may be a little too much for his delicate sensibilities). He should also do just fine with other cats and dogs, given a proper introduction.
Muffin may have had a rough start, but he is ready for their furrrever home and can't wait to meet his potential adopters!
Muffin is about 1.5 years old, is healthy, neutered, microchipped and has tested negative for FIV/FELV.

Thank you for thinking of a rescued angel. Every dime goes to saving the next homeless angel on the street.
