Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddyis a beautiful 1.5 year old german shepherd. He has a sunny disposition and is Mr. Congeniality. He loves people, affection, teats, and dogs. Buddy was rescued from the “medical” department on a Texas death row. He was said to have an injury to his leg which we agreed to treat. Instead and unbeknownst to us contrary to our agreement they amputated one of his rear legs. Buddy is not down about it. He runs with the best of them. He manages perfectly on three legs. He is good with dogs and does not argue. He loves people and seems to always have a smile on his face. He is good in the house and is also crate trained if you are so inclined.

Our adoption process requires upon inquiry by an adopter, an adopter's applying for a dog(s). Once the application is submitted we give the applicant the contact information for the adopter for them to meet the dogs in who they are interested. We ask they bring the family - including other pets - and spend time with the dog (s). We review the application and also suggest other dogs who maybe of interest.
Once the applicant has chosen to adopt, we conduct a home visit to make sure the home and the dog will have a great life!
