My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chevy Girl is just one of those adorable puppies that you know is going to take of herself in life and also the family that loves her.  She is a Hound/Lab mix that came from a very remote shelter in Tennessee where no puppies leave except when a rescue comes to save them.  This little blonde/tan girl has lots of adorable wrinkles and extra skin that tells you she has some growing to do and she will.  She was born approximately February 1st 2025.  Growing like an adorable little elf, her curiosity in life is easily noticed as she explores and climbs and finds a few good sticks to chew on in the backyard.   Her fur is soft and her warm brown eyes melt y our heart when you hug her and play with her.  She is independent in a good way and is not whiny or clingy.  She has no insecurities and never makes a fuss that you are leaving her sight and gone for a  while.  She is on her way to being a 45-50 pound girl that will be an easy companion and dog to have in your family life.  She is crate trained and working on getting the potty training down when on a real schedule that she learns is reliable.   She is good with other dogs and at this young age will be wonderful with cats.  She could benefit from a fenced yard and it doesn’t have to be huge either.   If you are interested in this pretty puppy please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Critter Cavalry Rescue can travel northward as well with puppies or adult dogs or cats on a transport van that goes northward every weekend.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
