Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hank – A sweet senior ready to retire in style! Hank is a 12 year old Miniature Dachshund, weighing just 12 lbs.
Sweet, soulful Hank is searching for his second chance—a cozy, loving retirement home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by kindness and comfort.
Hank is full of love and snuggles, and spry for a 12 year old! This gentle boy is wonderful with other dogs and snuggles his foster brothers. While Hank’s playful side comes out around cats (he thinks they want to play chase!), we recommend a home without cats—or one where he can be safely separated from them.
And here’s the part that’ll melt your heart: Hank is absolutely smitten with his stuffed teddy bear. He cuddles it like a baby and it’s his most prized possession. Just give him a soft bed, some gentle belly rubs, and his teddy, and you’ll have one very content little guy.
If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion and have a whole lot of love to give, Hank might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to start his next chapter with someone who will cherish him the way he deserves.
Hank has been fully vetted, is up to date on vaccines, and neutered.
Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial.
Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year.
