My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Grayson and Peabody were surrendered together because the current person could no longer care for them. They are both incredibly sweet but were completely terrified in the shelter at first. We believed they very fond of each other and continue to find comfort in each other's presence but as they both continue to adjust to shelter life we now believe they would not be required to be adopted together as a "bonded pair".

Both Grayson and Peabody do love human attention! If you sit on the floor by them, they will come out and claim your lap as their home. Grayson will roll and roll to show off for you and Peabody will give a gentle head butt for your attention. Both are "long and lean" and love to stretch out and will allow you to pet and rub their tummies. Many cat lovers know this can be rare, cats do not always love this area touch, but these guys are so sweet and mellow, they just want your attention. Grayson is a gorgeous boy with his big bright eyes and soft fur. He is kind to other cats, and does not seem to mind dogs. This great cat deserves a second chance to be loved.

More about this rescue

Little Orphan's members are dedicated to the well-being of all animals we encounter. Dismayed by the numbers of cats and dogs housed in shelters and euthanized each and every year, we have an active spay/neuter assistance program and ensure as best we can that each animal adopted through our program has truly found a "forever" home.
