Mr. Neckles is well aware of meal time and will remind anybody with a can opener what time that is. His “prefurred” menu is canned, wet food and he will tell you that directly. Who doesn’t love a somewhat bossy, but well-intentioned chatty cat? In return for pate, Mr. Neckles will return the favor with affection, sweetness, and all-around happiness. He loves booty scratches, lap sitting, and human conversation. He would really like to have a sister cat (how cute is that?)! Mr. Neckles is such a wonderful boy, especially with adults who can read his body language.

Mr. Neckles is about 3 years old, fully vet checked, neutered, Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. Mr. Neckles has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a condition that suppresses his immune system. But he is a perfectly healthy cat, with no signs of being slowed down by FIV! Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all. The virus is not spread to people or dogs. And it is not spread to cats through casual contact -- like sharing litter boxes, water and food bowls, or through snuggling, grooming, and playing.
