Cashew has every reason to be cranky. She was rescued from the basement of a building where she was trying to survive. We checked her for a chip and she actually had one--from 14 years ago, making her at least that old! Despite everything she has been through, Cashew really just wants a warm, safe place to sleep, regular meals, and kindness. She isn't a fan of other cats and really just wants peace and affection. Despite her advanced age and neglect, she is in remarkably good health thankfully. We hope that she can find a wonderful home and know true love and commitment for the first time in her life.
