Sadie is currently living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Sadie is a sweetheart with soft, soulful dark brown eyes and a heart full of love. Her journey began in rough circumstances — she and her siblings were abandoned on a porch in a plastic tub in Texas. In a small town, word travels quickly, and we soon learned these puppies were born to a gentle mix breed mama who was left to wander the streets by an irresponsible owner. This brave mama gave birth under a stack of roofing tin out in the woods. When she disappeared, her tiny litter was
rescued and left in our care. But puppies are resilient, and within just a couple of days in her foster home, Sadie and her siblings began greeting their foster family with happy barks and wagging tails.

Sadie is the kind of pup who turns heads and melts hearts the moment she walks in the room. With her soulful, thoughtful eyes and gentle spirit, she’s the perfect mix of snuggly sweetness and playful mischief.
She’s a smart cookie too—Sadie’s learning to ring a bell when it’s potty time (she prefers civilized communication, thank you very much), and she’s mastering leash walking and basic commands like a total pro. Whether she’s out on a stroll or sitting pretty for a treat, Sadie aims to please.
When she’s not impressing with her good manners, Sadie loves spending time with her people and making fast friends with other friendly pups. And here’s her little secret: she’s got a hilarious hoarding habit! If something goes missing—a sock, a dish towel, maybe even a flip-flop—check her kennel. Chances are, it’s part of her growing treasure collection.
At night, she’s a dream—sleeping quietly in her kennel like the good girl she is.
If you're looking for a pup who will steal your heart (and maybe your slippers), Sadie is your girl. She's sweet, she's smart, and she's just waiting for a forever family to love her as much as she’ll love them. As she is still young, her adopter will need to have her spayed at six months of age and attend a positive based in-person puppy class.

Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
