My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You might recognize this beautiful face! April, a majestic husky mix with stunning blue eyes, is well-known in the community and recently found her way to Montgomery County Animal Services along with her precious puppies. While all her little ones have found loving homes or gone to rescues (except for her last puppy, Little Bit, who is also looking for a home!), April is now seeking her own forever family.

April is a special girl who will need a patient and understanding adopter. Having lived a more independent life, she's now ready to learn what it means to be a beloved family dog. She's looking for someone knowledgeable and committed to teaching her the ropes – from house manners to walks on a leash, and all the joys of living indoors. If you have experience with dogs who need a little extra guidance and are looking for a rewarding journey, April is waiting to meet you. With time, love, and consistency, April will undoubtedly blossom into an incredible companion.

Come visit April at Montgomery County Animal Services and be the one to show her the wonderful world of being a cherished pet!
