My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zuni is a mixed breed puppy born at the end of 2024. Since arriving at HPPR, she has been in a foster home. Zuni is friendly, well-socialized, people oriented (loves to snuggle and be with people), kid-friendly, dog-friendly (loves to run and play), and cat friendly. Zuni would prefer to find a forever home either with a sibling (Taos and Tusa) or one that has another dog friend as this is important for companionship and development. Zuni is doing well with potty training (still working on it but frequent trips ouside help as well as crate training), leash walking, and basic commands (sit, come). She has been microchipped, dewormed, and has had basic vaccines. Booster and spay appointments have been made, and HPPR will work with the adopter to fulfill these appointments.

In addition to the pets listed on Adopt-A-Pet, we have some that are not quite ready for prime time, but we will accept adoption applications now on these for when they reach the adoptable stage.
