My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sandy! She is super super, sweet, LOVES other dogs, is crate trained housebroken, good with cats, walks well on a leash and rides well in the car. She is learning some basic commands and is very, very treat motivated! Sandy is very timid when meeting new people and will need someone who understands and is willing to give her the time and patience that she needs to warm up and feel comfortable. Another dog in the home helps her, especially if they like to play! Sandy would love a fenced yard where she can play and do zoomies. She was pretty shut down when she first came into the foster’s home, but has blossomed as she’s become more and more comfortable and secure. She is very sensitive and loud noises can startle her but overtime that has been improving to where she feels more secure in the foster’s home. She is very sweet and loving and such a good girl. She deserves a family to call her own.
Sandy is 2.5 years old and the perfect size at 35 pounds - we have no idea her breed other than super mutt (which are the best) - another confident dog in the home is a must as this helps Sandy blossom even more - she is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, has had a full bloodwork panel done, 4DX Heartworm negative, current on prevention (heartworm and flea/tick), microchipped and ready to find a new last name
The first step in our adoption process is filling out our adoption application that can be found on our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org - Once the application is reviewed and vet references are done - we will be in touch - we do require a home visit as well.
All of our dogs are in private foster homes throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina - we do not have a facility
Sandy's adoption fee is $250.00

Additional adoption info

Our fees are:
$250.00 (for All Ages)
*Unless otherwise noted

All of our rescues will be spay/neutered prior to adoption, unless they are under 6 months of age or recommended by our vet. All dogs will be micro chipped prior to adoption and come with a care package at the time of adoption

Our application process is as follows:
First an application should be filled out at our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org on the Foster/Adoption Application page. A vet reference check is done to verify all the animals currently in the home are UTD on vaccines as well as Heart Worm Preventatives. A phone interview will be conducted, and the final step is a home check.

Go meet their pets

All of our rescues are fostered in separate homes, as we do not have a facility yet. We do have occasional adoption events, which can be found on our website calendar at www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org or on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/boxerbuttsandothermutts

More about this rescue

We are located in Western North Carolina. We do adopt out of the area with transport, although, certain dogs have to be adopted locally, and that is always stated in the description. If you adopt a puppy out of our area or choose to use a different vet, we have an application amendment to be filled out as well for the spay/neuter & vaccine contract.
