Meet our gorgeous black panther Maude! This stunning girl came to ACR as a small kitten after she was found during demo in a house renovation. She was scared and a tiny little thing snuggled up with her sister Minnie. After a plea was put on FB they found their way to ACR.

Maude spent time with her sister in a quiet foster home. Due to them being a bit scared and nervous a quieter home was the best fit at the time. She enjoyed snuggles and loves from her foster mom but struggled to fully trust humans.

After Maude healed from her spay she went to stay with a new foster in hopes that having extra cat friends she’d learn to fully trust humans. She proved us right shortly after arriving. Maude quickly learned from watching other cats that humans were safe. She started to enjoy head scratches and belly rubs.

Maude loves to play with cat toys and the other foster cats. She’s thriving and doing great. She’s now looking for her forever family that will continue to help her grow while remembering humans are wonderful people.

She’d love to have a family with other cat(s) or be adopted with one of her friends. She truly enjoys being around other cats and thrives by being with them.

She LOVES her homemade catnip kick sticks (her foster mom has been busy sewing and stocking up the toy box. She loves the warm rays of the sun and snoozing on the bed while catching the sunlight from the window.

Please note: Kittens who remain with a littermate or a similarly-aged companion are healthier, happier and better socialized. If you adopt littermates, not only will they keep each other entertained and happier, we'll also give you a reduced adoption fee! Please inquire if interested in adopting a sibling or foster buddy.

All of our adoptable kitties are current on shots, microchipped, altered (if old enough), and litter box trained.
