Maya is a friendly, affectionate, gentle, loyal, playful, and smart 4-1/2-year-old girl with an adventurous spirit. She loves human attention and affection, and does well with other dogs. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Southern California, but we adopt dogs to people in states across the country. In 2024, we adopted almost 200 animals to people in California, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Texas and New York. Most of the animals we save come from high-kill shelters in California, but we also take in owner surrenders.
