My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Ribbon! I’m a gentle, quiet soul who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. New environments and people can make me nervous, so I’ll need a little extra time, patience, and love to help me settle in and feel safe.

When I go to my forever home, I’ll do best with a calm “home base,” like a spare bathroom or quiet bedroom, where I can have all the essentials: litter box, food and water, cozy bedding, and some fun enrichment to help me feel secure. This kind of setup really helps me decompress and slowly get used to the household routine.

Children aren’t really my cup of tea so, a home without them will be best for me! I’m looking for an adult only home where I can relax and enjoy some quiet companionship.

Once I feel safe and connected to my primary people, my confidence starts to shine! From there, I’ll be much more ready to explore, meet other pets, and settle into family life. I may take a little time to warm up, but I promise, I’m worth the wait.
