Introducing Derby, a magnificent black and white medium-haired girl who is about 50% fluffy-tail. You'll note that Derby has a "tipped ear" (the very tip of her left ear was surgically removed). This indicates that Derby was part of a feral colony on which we did Trap-Neuter-Return. Her destiny SHOULD have been to go back to her colony with the rest of her family, but she let us know she was not TOTALLY opposed to the idea of humans in her life. Yay!

Derby spent some time in a loving foster home, where she got along beautifully with the other cats and learned how to play, and how to accept affection from her foster parents. She has since transitioned back to life at the shelter where she tends to hide from strangers. We are confident she will once again blossom in a calm and patient forever home, and one day you will find her curled up next to you when you wake up - awwww!

Judging from the results many of our prior shy-cat adopters have achieved, these shy kitties often become the most devoted and affectionate family members when allowed to blossom at their own rates.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Derby is a suggested minimum of SHY CAT SPECIAL $20 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
