Aloha! My name is Nani, just like Lilo’s big sister! I’m a super sweet and affectionate girl who’s still learning how to be brave in this big, wide world. Just like Stitch when he first landed on Earth, everything feels a little scary and unfamiliar right now. But the kind “ohana” (that’s what the staff here are!) are helping me learn that it’s okay to take things one step at a time. When I’m outside, I turn into a total goofball! Rolling around in the grass and snuggling up to the staff is my favorite thing ever. I’m always trying to wiggle into their laps or flop over with my tummy up, hoping for some well-deserved belly rubs.
I’m dreaming of finding my own quiet little “ohana”, a home where I can feel safe, loved, and slowly build up my confidence. Like Lilo says, “Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.” I can’t wait to find mine!
**Nani has a discounted adoption fee to help find her furrever home! Please note that applicants are still required to follow our adoption process and meet the requirements of this pet in order to be approved to adopt**

Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your envirnoment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
