Meet Dante!
Breed: Doberman
Age: 2 years
Location: Edmonton, AB
Personality: Dante is a playful boy who knows basic commands and is very food motivated. He needs clear boundaries and a knowledgeable adopter to continue his training.
Likes: He enjoys playing fetch, playing tug of war, puzzle toys, and running at the dog park.
Dislikes: Although Dante wants to be with his people at all times, he isn't a cuddler. He does not like being left alone and although crate trained, he can be a bit vocal when left unattended. He should not be left uncrated if left alone. Dante can be protective of his home and needs a slow, calm and controlled introduction to visitors, even if they have met him before. He can be a bit unsure of new people upon initial meeting and can take a few minutes to warm up.
Ideal Home: The ideal family does not have small children as he is a large dog who plays rough. He needs regular exercise and mental stimulation to make sure he doesn't become destructive.
Family: Other pets in the home are okay, but best if it is confident female dog. He has previously lived with cats.
Health: No known issues.
Adoption Fee: $500
Dante has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. All adopters must agree not to use any punitive training methods.
