Suicune (known as Mabel) is available for adoption. She is a 55-lb hound mix.
Likes: ? Taking walks ? Car rides ? Doggie toys ? Snuggling and belly rubs Dislikes: ? Small kids (older teens only please) ? Other dogs (wants to be only canine in the house) ? Crates (reported to have not been in crate in prior home - did great when left alone). I am working from home and haven’t left her alone except to go to mailbox.
Mabel loves walks, but is not fond of other dogs. Prior owner walked twice daily and would always have a biscuit with her to re-direct if they came across a dog. She is a beautiful girl and doesn’t require much but a little play time, then she likes to sleep on her doggie I fostered her last year and can say, she was close to being a foster fail.

You are required to sign a legally binding contact on your new pet. As part of that contract, should you no longer be able to keep the animal for any reason, the animal MUST be surrendered back to SAAP. This is to ensure the animal is placed back in foster care while we secure a new approved home for the animal. However, we always try to ensure that the initial placement is best for the pet and your family. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non profit organization. We are dedicated to the rescue of animals that are in need of a forever home. Our animals are fostered in homes where we provide love, food, medical care and socialization until adoption into a new loving home. We educate on the importance of spaying and neutering of all pets.

We ensure all animals have been spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They are micro-chipped, up to date on shots and on heartworm and anti-flea medications (as age appropriate). They are ready and waiting to start their new life with their fur-ever family. Could that be you?

We need your help to continue our mission. We rely solely on donations and fundraisers. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% of your donation will go towards the rescue, care, and medical needs of the animals.
