Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a laid-back best friend? Meet Topher — a 3-year-old Shepherd/Lab/Hound mix who’s mastered the art of relaxation.
Topher has had a rough road, but what he really wants now is simple: a soft bed, short strolls, and someone to love. He’s not a high-energy pup who needs endless games of fetch — instead, he’s a low-maintenance, easygoing companion who’s happiest just hanging out with his people.
This sweet boy is great with kids, loves everyone he meets, and does well with other dogs (though he’s not much of a rough-and-tumble player). He’s kennel trained, polite, and gentle — truly an old soul in a younger dog’s body.
Topher does have a few quirks: his missing bottom canines give him the cutest tongue-hanging smile, and his hip makes him a little wobbly sometimes (he takes a simple supplement for comfort, and his orthopedic bed goes home with him). His only real mischief is digging out of the yard if left alone too long — but supervised yard time or daily walks will keep him perfectly content.
After everything he’s survived, Topher deserves a forever family who appreciates the calm, loving, no-fuss companion he is. If you’ve been wishing for a dog who just wants to be by your side, Topher might be your perfect match.
