This sweet boy may have started life on the streets of Madera, but he’s now on a journey of healing and hope. After a few careful attempts, Prancer was finally trapped and brought to safety. Since then, he’s been slowly learning that humans can be kind — and every day, he blossoms a little more

Prancer is full of energy and joy. He loves fetch, chew toys, and belly rubs once he feels safe. He’s crate trained, food-motivated (very), and oh-so-cute when he trots around like a little deer. While he’s still working on leash walking, his free-spirited gallop is pure magic. With a little patience and love, he'll get there. He just needs someone to show him the way

Prancer gets along well with small dogs and would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can continue to build confidence at his own pace.
