My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birdie is a charming, friendly and playful pup looking for her forever home.

At only 2-years-old Birdie is full of youthful energy! She loves to play with toys of all kinds and practice her basic commands. Birdie walks great on leash and enjoys getting out of her kennel for her daily walk.

Birdie can be weary and nervous of meeting new people. Once she warms up she's a silly, affectionate girl that loves to give kisses and receive belly rubs. Birdie is loyal to those she loves.

Birdie's ideal home would be an adult-only, active home that can provide structure and routine. Birdie is as sweet as they come and would love to call you her forever family!

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers that have worked in the rescue community in AZ for many years and are coming together to help fill a void in our rescue community. We care as much about the people as well as the dogs and want to keep giving each paw a hand until the shelters are empty. We will also provide resources for our community for people to try and keep their pet rather than surrendering them. We want to find the right fit for the people by taking a dog out of the shelter rather than making a dog fit for the people.
