My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Banjo … a delicious year-old cat who is pure charm.

A soul who rounds out the edges of the day and always makes it better.

Banjo is a big letter “E.”

Engaging. Easy. Endearing.

He is one of the first to make friends with new cats that come into the shelter, and loves a big cuddle puddle cat pile or a tandem run on our giant cat wheel.

Banjo is also the first to greet people when they come in the door, and he follows with a dance of leg-rubbing, play invitations, and slow-blinking love gazes.

This special boy radiates goodness and an uncomplicated joy that curls itself in your lap and purr hums.
He’s loyal without being clingy, curious without chaos, and generous with love in all directions.

Banjo is looking for a home where people are home more than not, and because he is a social butterfly, he needs to be adopted with his sibling, Puck, or into a home with another young, gregarious cat to become his new best friend.

A Haiku for Banjo
Quiet room, bright spark
Cheer hums in gentle light
Warmth lingers with him.

NOTE: We require indoor-only care for our cat adoptions.
