Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dahlia is the shelter’s second longest resident having been at the shelter for almost 200 days. Dahlia recently had a fun field trip and here is what our volunteers had to say about her. She has been so patient waiting for someone to come adopt her, and we are hopeful that her patience will pay off! Dahlia loved riding in the car and even stuck her head out the window to take in all the fresh air. She wasted no time once she arrived at the park and immediately started sniffing and investigating all the new smells! Dahlia likely needs to be the only dog in the home, but she was fine walking in a pack! She was not interested in other dogs playing around her or passing cars or people…all she wanted to do was walk and explore! Dahlia is not initially very affectionate or cuddly, but once she knows you, she will roll over on her belly and snuggle right into your lap! She loves to play fetch and swim in the kiddie pool at the shelter. She is pretty strong on the leash and could use some training to help her not pull so much, but if you have high-value treats, she is receptive to direction!
