More about this rescue

Who are we? Dogwood Trails Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. Most of our pets come from shelters and we SAVE primarily off EUTHANASIA lists. We are animal lovers, advocates and protectors. What is our GOAL? We focus primarily on difficult / situational cases. We strive to help ALL dogs. Recently we have became focused on all large breed and bulldog rescues. We are NOT a purebred rescue. We also facilitate owner surrenders to save them from the kill shelters. All animals are fully vetted. Those needing behavioral training receive special care to make them adoptable. Some dogs have more extreme medical needs than others. All dogs deserve a chance at life!

Be part of the DTAR Family, come on out and ADOPT your new pet today or ASK US about who we have in FOSTER that may not be listed.
