My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sue is a gentle, affectionate girl currently thriving in her foster home. She’s a sweetheart who happily matches the vibe of whatever her people are doing. If you’re relaxing on the couch, she’s right there curled up beside you. If you’re outside, she’s sniffing the yard, tossing around her tennis ball, or playing chase. She loves walks and playtime, but she doesn’t need constant exercise to settle — she’s content simply being part of your day.

With her soft eyes, sweet face, and loving nature, Sue melts hearts everywhere she goes. She knows her people and forms deep bonds, but she is also polite and gentle with new visitors. She has shown mild hesitancy with unfamiliar men entering the home abruptly, but with proper introductions and neutral settings, she does well. She’s also done great with children, happily snuggling up to a 5-year-old and 10-year-old.

Sue has lived with both dogs and cats. She’s curious but respectful with cats and becomes indifferent once she knows them. With dogs, she has developed some reactivity toward the male dog in her foster home as she has grown more confident and protective of the household. However, she gets along wonderfully with the foster’s female bully mix.

Sue is kennel trained, potty trained, loyal, silly, loving, and wonderfully easy to live with. She truly feeds off the energy of her humans and wants nothing more than to be near her family, soaking up affection and returning it tenfold.

This sweet girl is ready to bring joy, comfort, and devotion to a home that will cherish her for the amazing dog she is. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make every day brighter, Sue might just be your perfect match.
