Hello! My name's Odette! I am a 1 year old Lab/Hound mix female that weighs 65 Lbs. I was roaming stray in late January when a kind neighbor took me in from the cold. Unfortunately, my family already had 3 other dogs in the home and 2 that frequently visit so they are ready had a full house when I was taken in. I got along well with all the other dogs in the home, cats and children too. Sadly, there were just too many pets in the home and therefore they decided to surrender me to the shelter in the hopes that I would find my fur-ever family. I am a very sweet and gentle girl! I walk on a leash pretty well and am learning basic commands. I am attentive and very interested in learning. I enjoy playing with other dogs! If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure we get along. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, boosters are to date and heartworm negative. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
