Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Miss Lucille W 💐
This petite little lady may be full-grown, but she still looks like a kitten—with her dainty features and tiny frame, she’s estimated to be around 3–4 years old. Lucille is a unique beauty with only half a tail—not from an injury, just born with a little extra character. 💕
Lucille came to us as a stray, likely having raised more than one litter of kittens on her own. She’s had a tough start to life, but now she’s ready to finally be the baby herself. She’s incredibly independent and resilient, shaped by her time on the streets—but don’t be fooled: this girl loves her people. When she wants affection (or snacks!), she’s not shy about letting you know. 😺
Lucille is:
✅ Spayed
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Combo tested (negative!)
🐾 Good with other cats (but prefers her own space)
🐶 Dog tolerant (ignores them like a queen)
👧 Kid-friendly
Lucille doesn’t play or cuddle with other animals—she’s a bit of a loner—but she’s sweet and affectionate with her humans. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion who marches to the beat of her own drum but loves a good snuggle session, Miss Lucille W may be your girl. 🤍

After you complete an application, there are several things that we will do:
1. We will check your personal references. Please be sure to list two personal references and include a phone number and an email address. (form asks for one; but I like two)
2. If you do not own your place of residence, we will call your landlord or leasing office. Please check with them first to learn about their pet policy.
3. We will call your veterinarian for a reference. We are looking for a history of annual exams, vaccines maintained routinely, annual heartworm tests and monthly preventatives. We require the following:
* All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered.
* If your pet is not up to date on vaccines, please do not submit the application until you have scheduled an appointment with the vet to get your pets current on their vaccines.
4. If you are a 1st-time pet owner, please include the name and phone number of the veterinarian you plan to use.
5. Be sure to call your Vet(s), giving them permission to speak with us.
6. We may need to do a home visit prior to approving your application, or post-adoption.
If these policies and practices are not acceptable, please do not apply.
