Sailor isn’t all brawn--he’s brains and personality, too. This big handsome fella might be the coolest cat you’ll ever meet. He is very confident and social--your best friend. Whatever is going on around the house, you can bet he wants to be part of the action.
Sailor is amongst the most vocal cats we’ve come across. You’ll never know lonely when he’s around. It’s not uncommon for him to nestle up against you or even crawl into your lap when lounging around, and you can count on him to snuggle you in bed at night. If that’s not your bag, just make it known and he’ll give space. Sailor loves head, chin, and mid-back scritches, but will gently let you know with a soft tooth that his belly and hind legs are out of bounds if you push those limits.
Like other smart cats, Sailor can get restless without enough stimulation (and food for his big appetite). The best home for him is one where he’s not alone for extended periods and his family has automatic toys out and takes time to play string/wire toy with him a few times a day. He’ll likely mellow as he grows out of his young adult stage.
Sailor doesn’t mind being held. We know he gets along with dogs because he used to live with one, but he is dominant with other cats and may not be compatible with all of them. He doesn’t have a history with children so caution and supervision are required.

Sailor was born approximately November 1, 2023, and his adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend!
