Introducing Ms. Missy. Missy is believed to be a Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador mix, she weighs 24 lbs. and is estimated to be around 4 months old. This adorable baby has had a terrible start at life, being witnessed as thrown from a vehicle and dumped on the side of the road by her former owners along with two additional dogs (also up for adoption, see Roscoe and Vixie). She is silly, playful, funny, loving, and is just a plain sweetheart. Since being in foster care with us, she has shown herself to get along great with other dogs as well as very young children. She is healthy and smart, not to mention beautiful. Missy is already doggie door and crate trained. She is still working on her potty training but has shown great improvement thus far.
Missy is now (or will be soon) spayed, microchipped, dewormed and is fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $300 which doesn’t even cover the expenses we have put into her since she has come to our rescue. Our priority is ensuring that she gets the best new family and the biggest chance at having a better life.
