My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Elsa — and yes, I am as good as they say.

I’m a 2-year-old, 60 lbs. black lab mix, and I’m basically a professional cuddle monster. I love people, belly rubs, and basically anything that involves being your best friend.

Full disclosure: I can chill… until I spot a squirrel or a dog... or anything—then it’s go time! I’m picky with my dog friends, so I would be best as an only dog..

Kids? I’m cool as long as they don’t mind a little enthusiastic knocking—I’m strong, silly, and full of energy!

I promise endless love, goofy smiles, and the occasional zoomies. Think you can handle me? Let’s be besties!

Go meet their pets

We hold adoption events every weekend in the DC/Baltimore Metro Area and also schedule private meet and greets once a potential adopter/foster has applied for a specific dog or cat.
