My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NAME:
Ainsley

STATS:
Female, Chihuahua, 3 years, 13 lbs.

TEMPERAMENT:
Friendly.
Shy at first and warms up.
Active (puppy energy).
Shows fear of men

SKILLS
Potty trained.
Crate trained.
Good with older, gentle children.
Good with dogs.
Has not been exposed to cats.

MORE ABOUT ME:
Likes belly rubs.
Couch cuddler.
Likes playing with other dogs.
Submissive.
Suggest training (basic manners).

ONE LAST THING:
Here she is, Ainsley! This beauty is ready for her forever home. She is crate and potty trained. Doing ok with leash training and learning to trust humans again. She takes a bit to warm up to new people and is initially more fearful with men, but warms up with patience and shows them all love she has to offer. Ainsley enjoys playing with other dogs and being the center of attention. She enjoys doing zoomies especially early in the morning and when you come home. Loves to cuddle with you at night and will lay her head on your chest and look deep into your soul with her beautiful loving eyes. We suspect Ainsley was victim to abuse and was on the euthanasia list and so we are looking for a great forever family for her.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, abused, stray and neglected animals, primarily from high-kill shelters. We collaborate with other rescue groups and animal shelters to improve the lives of animals at risk for euthanisia. We work to provide solutions which seek to end the animal over-population and educate people to be responsible pet owners and "fur-ever guardians."
