🐾 Meet Diamond
Diamond’s story is a tender one, and she’s hoping for a happy ending. She came into rescue in May 2025 as a tiny, timid puppy and was soon adopted by a family we believed would be her forever. Unfortunately, as Diamond grew and began finding her voice, she struggled in a home with cats and a small, elderly dachshund. No serious injuries occurred, but the situation became stressful for everyone, and after many months, Diamond was returned.
She was returned to us at an adoption event. After soaking up love from her people, Diamond spent three heartbreaking hours sitting in her kennel, quietly staring out at the parking lot, waiting for the family she thought was hers.
The good news? 💛 Diamond is blossoming in her foster home. While she can still be a bit timid and is clearly confused by all the changes she’s experienced, her sweet nature shines through more each day.
What Diamond needs:
A home without cats or small dogs
She does well with larger dogs
A patient, understanding adopter who will let her build trust at her own pace
Once Diamond knows she’s safe, she seeks out love and connection and will reward your patience with deep loyalty and affection. With the right person, this beautiful girl will continue to bloom—and just might become the best dog you’ve ever had.
If you believe in second chances and have room in your heart and home for Diamond, she’s ready to believe in you too. 💎🐶
