My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAMMY
Age: 2 years
Ideal Home: A loving, patient indoor home ready to give him the care and comfort he deserves—regular brushing required to keep his beautiful coat healthy.

Background:
Sammy has had a tough start. When his previous owners moved, they left him behind to fend for himself. He was found with some wounds and matted fur, likely from life on the streets—but through it all, he’s remained a total sweetheart. Despite what he’s been through, Sammy is affectionate, gentle, and clearly ready to find a home where he’ll be loved and never left behind again.

Personality:
Incredibly sweet and trusting, even after all he’s been through
Enjoys being brushed (and needs regular grooming due to his long, silky coat)
Affectionate and mellow—he just wants a cozy spot and a kind human nearby

Health Info:
Sammy is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives and can often live peacefully with other cats
He’s healing beautifully from his past wounds and is gaining confidence each day

Good With:
Cat-respectful children who understand gentle interactions
Possibly other calm, friendly cats—he’s still being assessed but is showing promising signs

Unsure About:
Dogs

Sammy is more than ready to leave his rough past behind and settle into a forever home full of love, warmth, and good brushing sessions. If you're looking for a gentle soul who will reward you with soft purrs, sweet headbutts, and unconditional love, Sammy might just be your guy.
