Hetero beige male chinchilla -- "Rick"
Born 12/2023 -- 1 year old
**we've been calling this guy, Rick the Brick, as he is an absolute unit of a chin. For a boy, he is a CHONK (said lovingly)**
**Rick came in with a group of chins that started as two chins...and ended up as a LOT of chins due to the original pair breeding and breeding and breeding... and a lot of fighting going on in the cage**
**Rick is currently being fostered in the Auburn, IN area. He can either be adopted out directly from his foster home, or can be brought back to the rescue (Wolcott, IN) for adoption as well**
--has opinions about being picked up, and will definitely let you know what they are
--not mean, just scared
--occasionally tries to spray, though he has male anatomy, so he more or less drips in your direction
--needs a family that can work through his fear... the right family will pick him up anyway, despite all of the above, because once you do have him in your arms, he's an awesome furball
--once he's in your arms, he does just chill with you
--sits nicely in your arms to be handled and petted
--sweet boy, just very unsure of people
--needs a lot of TLC

All of our chinchillas come with a baggie of food to start you out with as well as a printed out version of our chinchilla care packet.
These chinchillas are located in Wolcott, Indiana (47995 about 30 minutes north of Lafayette, IN. We can deliver for *some* chinchillas, and for others, we can help you with finding ground transport. We are able to work with your own transport as well!
