This is VAN GOGH! He is bonded with his brother, MONET. They are part of our “artist series” litter.
Van Gogh is approximately 1 year 1 month old as of 02/28/2025 and weighed 40 pounds as of 07/2024. He’s so handsome and his personality is THE BEST!
He is a happy go lucky dog just waiting to go play in his new forever home!
He just loves to play! VAN GOGH is particular is OBSESSED with toys. Obsessed. He loves to play. For that reason, we think he’d be wonderful with a family that enjoys activities and being outside exploring. Right after playing he loves to curl up on the couch and have a deep snooze. This boy would love to go on “starry night” walks with you! He also loves to play in water and doesn't mind a rainy play day.
He gets along with dogs of all sizes. He is currently in a home with 6 pups. We think he’s be wonderful with kids as well since he’s just a happy-go-lucky guy!
VAN GOGH and MONET would be best in a fenced yard since they are dogs who like to chase cats, birds and animals. They do get along with dogs.
VAN GOGH loves human attention, cuddles and is sweet as can be!
Please contact us for more videos and photos. The foster does a wonderful job of documenting their personalities and interaction.
If you feel that he and his brother are a good fit for you/your family, please complete an application from our site, miraclesforsatosrescue.org.

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently in Puerto Rico. Once an adopter is fully approved, transport will be arranged to New York/New Jersey.
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.
We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years).
Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog.
In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopters home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.

More about this rescue
Miracles for Satos Rescue
We are an all volunteer, no-kill, not-for-profit, 501c3 rescue group.
We rescue the satos (street dogs) of Puerto Rico from the streets, kill shelters and bad situations. Satos are unfortunately in abundance and these amazing sweet spirits need our help to find permanent loving homes!
We are the voice and for those who can not help themselves!
All donations are fully tax deductible!
Our rescuers and volunteers are unpaid so that any monies can be dedicated solely to the dogs! Medical, food, supplies, spay/neuter, and maintenance of our farm/sanctuary facility in Puerto Rico, transportation costs, and training are among the many expenses we have. We try to never say "no" to any dog in need!
We and our satos are grateful to our donors and our fosters and adopters!
