Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This dashing little guy is about 6 years old and weighs in at just 16 lbs. We believe he’s a Dachshund mix, and he’s the perfect blend of spunky and snuggly. Major Tom was found as a stray but had the great fortune of wandering into the yard of a local dog trainer—who’s now fostering him and offering two free training lessons to his future family!
Major Tom has a gentle, affectionate personality and thrives on cuddles and attention. He’s good with cats and respectful dogs, though he appreciates a little personal space now and then. He does have a unique look—his left eye is smaller and non-visual—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit! He loves running around, hopping up on the couch for cuddles, and keeping watch out the window like the loyal little companion he is.
He’s recently been neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is currently being treated for heartworm. He takes his medication like a champ (especially if cheese is involved!).
Major Tom would make a wonderful addition to a loving home that’s looking for a small dog with a big heart.
