My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue**
Are you looking to add a big puppy to your life? A spotted, speckled, adorable mutt mix? Look no further- meet Panda! Panda is one of six puppies born to mama Pippa. Pippa was brought in as a stray off the reservation and was already pregnant; she delivered November 24, 2024. We DNA tested a puppy from the litter and they are a mix of six different breeds; 22% American Staffordshire Terrier, 18% English Shepherd, and 15% each of Mastiff, Rottweiler, Border Collie, and Greyhound. Panda currently weighs 43 pounds and is still growing!

Panda is all the things you expect from a puppy. She's goofy, happy, friendly, playful, and ENERGETIC! Before you apply to adopt, please make sure that you are ready to commit to helping Panda grow up to be the best adult doggy she can be. She is a mix of very active breeds, and will need lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep her happy and healthy. Panda will need a family willing to train her with potty training and basic manners. She is already working on her leash training and does very well overall (with a little zigging and zagging here and there). Panda loves to run and play, and has a blast zooming around the play yard. She is social with other dogs and would do best with another higher-energy dog that can PLAY with her. Panda is very affectionate with her human friends and always happy for a kiss and a cuddle. Think of all the fun things you can do and learn with Panda at your side. Come meet her!

Panda's adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations up to date including rabies, and microchip. Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment.

More about this rescue

"Chi Town" is short for "Chihuahua Town," which is our nick-name because we found that the majority of animals we were rescuing happened to be Chihuahuas and literally have a little “town” comprised of Chihuahuas! Chihuahuas are one of the most over-bred dogs in Arizona and unfortunately many end up in need of rescue. However, we are not limited to saving just Chihuahas, we do save other breeds dependent on availability of space. Chi Town also specializes in rescuing dogs who require a little extra TLC and are at risk of euthanasia at county shelters. These dogs may not be doing well for a variety of reasons- fear, fear aggression, anxiety, or a medical issue to name a few. These are the dogs that typically have no other outlet and for which time is of the essence . After our dogs are medically cleared and/or their behavioral issues have improved, they are available for adoption.

Please be aware that we do our very best to answer all questions in a timely manner.

We are always seeking to help promote these special Chihuahuas who are too often overlooked in AZ shelters due to the sheer volume of this breed. Please share and like us on Facebook:
