Meet Raymond — the king of chill
This easygoing gentleman was found as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but one thing’s clear: he’s made up his mind that life is meant to be enjoyed one sunny nap at a time.
Raymond is a senior soul who appreciates the simple things — a cozy spot to lounge, a gentle walk now and then, and a good scratch behind the ears. He’s not a fan of rainy days (they interrupt his sunbathing schedule, after all) and he prefers to be the only animal in his kingdom. While he’s not much for cuddling, he adores being petted and treated with the respect a king deserves.
If your perfect day involves relaxing in the sunshine with a calm, loyal companion by your side, Raymond is your guy. He’s sweet, mellow, and ready to rule your heart — one sunbeam at a time.

Spay/neuter + rabies is included in our adoption fee, but may not be completed by time of adoption due to our limited access to veterinary appointments. We have local partners listed in your adoption contract that you can schedule an appointment with (and are paid by us) or we will reimburse for up to $100 for non-network veterinarians. Microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, flea treatment and dewormer are included.

PAWS finds new families for stray dogs and cats as well as owner surrendered pets. We also accept animals brought to us by concerned citizens and local animal control agencies and do our best to find them suitable homes. Our mission is to find homes and offer direct care for as many of these loveable pets as possible. PAWS attempts to prevent the birth of unwanted animals through education and spay/neuter programs.
PAWS of Grays Harbor is a strictly non-profit organization and we survive because of donations from our community. All of the animals we adopt out are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and treated for fleas. Sometimes, the animals we rescue require additional veterinary care. Without your donations, none of this would be possible. Thank you for your support, we couldn’t do it without you.
