Ebony is a sweet girl that loves to be outside. She gets along with other dogs. She is overwhelmed by the loud noise in the shelter and by storms but shines most when she is let out into the play yard. She is still learning how to walk on a leash, but loves getting any attention she can.(shy but a different dog outdoors, loving and playful)

Contract must be signed by someone 18 years of age or older. Animal must be spayed/neutered before release if old enough.

Additional adoption info

Email animalshelter@barnwellcountysc.gov for adoption application. Our adoption fees are $80 which include spaying/neutering of the pet, their rabies shot vaccination, microchip, and heartworm tested.

We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday between 11:00am and 4:00pm and Saturday 9:00am-12:00pm. The Shelter is closed to the Public on Friday.

We are the Barnwell County Animal Shelter located in Barnwell, SC. We take in animals that the local animal control officers pick -up and from the community. We try get our animals adopted out in our community. We are working towards becoming a No Kill Shelter. We would like to save all lives possible.
