Meet Miss Millie! This beautiful, five-year-old shepherd mix has one of the prettiest colored coats we’ve ever seen! A deep Sable Brown that is as soft as it is beautiful. Millie was adopted from our shelter about four years ago and lived happily with her owner until last week when his sudden death left her homeless. Confused and with a broken heart, she’s trying hard to be a good girl, but so wants to have her own person or family again! Millie is fine with cats and small dogs and loves people of all sizes!

People must come in for personal interview and complete adoption form. If renting, written permission from landlord is required. Adoption fee is $225. We require animals be returned to our facility if adoption does not work out. We require a signed agreement never to chain or crate an animal (crate exception for transport only). We DO NOT support crating! We follow up with phone call or home visit within first month. Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 231-944-6520. You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
