Hi, I’m Scout, a gentle and mellow senior of 12, 29 lbs., who loves the quiet life. I get along well with humans and other dogs, though I’m not one for playtime these days. I’ve been through some health challenges—I have a little arthritis, and I’m managing allergies with medication and weight management food. Despite this, I enjoy spending time in a calm environment with someone who understands my need for patience and care. I’m housetrained; crate trained and can use a potty pad. While I don’t go for walks due to my mobility issues, I absolutely adore car rides—I’m calm and quiet as can be! If you have a quiet home with a small, fenced yard and can offer me love and companionship, I’d be so grateful. I may need help getting around and managing furniture, but I promise to be a loyal and loving companion in return. My adoption fee is $100, but if you’re a senior yourself (65+), my adoption fee is waived! May need periodic injections for allergies and arthritis. Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!
NOTE: Hospice fosters have ongoing medical needs that will require care for the rest of their lives. While they remain available for adoption, we carefully screen potential homes to ensure their medical and special needs can be fully supported. BTRNT is committed to providing these dogs with a loving forever home—whether that is through adoption or as a permanent hospice foster within our rescue.
We are always looking for good foster homes. These homes allow us to rescue more Boston Terriers in need because we have a place for them to go until they are adopted. Please consider becoming a foster home for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas. You can fill out a foster application at Foster Application | Boston Terrier Rescue Of North Texas. This will allow you to possibly become a foster home for one of our little Boston Terriers in need. Thank you for considering the possibility of fostering for Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas!
Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts!
