My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buddy, a young, independent soul with a heart full of courage. His energy is infectious, his playfulness endearing. He's the epitome of bravery, not afraid to explore new environments or face challenges head-on. Buddy has a zest for life that's truly inspiring. However, he's not for the faint-hearted. His spirited nature requires an owner who's experienced, someone who can match his enthusiasm stride for stride. Multiple meets are needed to fully appreciate Buddy's vibrant personality. Adopting Buddy isn't just about giving a home to a shelter pet. It's about embarking on a journey of endless adventures and unconditional love. With Buddy, every day is a new opportunity to experience joy, laughter, and companionship. He's more than a pet; he's a partner, a playmate, a friend. He's waiting to add a dash of excitement to your life. Are you ready for Buddy?

Here's what his fosters have had to say:
Buddy is a well-mannered, affectionate dog who has stayed with his foster family multiple times and consistently shines in a home environment. He is fully potty trained, has never had an accident in the house or crate, and settles in comfortably. While he has shown some fence reactivity at the shelter, his fosters report that he does well meeting most dogs on daily walks. Buddy can be selective with new people, but with a calm approach, he warms up and shows his sweet, loyal nature.

He rides wonderfully in the car—and even on a golf cart—happily offering enthusiastic kisses along the way. Due to one resident dog’s preferences, Buddy has been kept separate in the home, but has handled the arrangement calmly and respectfully. With his good manners, affectionate personality, and adaptable nature, Buddy will thrive with an adopter who can offer patient introductions and plenty of love.
