At three years old, Meatball is fully cooked and absolutely delicious—a chunky, squishy-faced Staffy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s the kind of dog who enters a room like he owns the place, flops on the couch like a king, and somehow manages to steal your heart while side-eyeing your snack.
Meatball is goofy, bold, and unbothered by anyone’s expectations but his own. He’s all about short walks, long naps, and being the star of the show. He gives amazing “staffy hugs,” snores like a freight train, and is known to throw in a little dramatic flair when things aren’t going exactly his way (diva vibes, 10/10).
But beneath the spice, there’s a big softie. Meatball loves his people hard. He thrives with structure, routine, and someone who understands the Staffy spirit—strong, loyal, and just a little stubborn. He prefers to be the only pet in the home (one Meatball per plate, please), and would do best with an experienced adopter who can match his energy and give him the boundaries he needs to shine.

We will reach out via a text to set up a mutually agreeable time to chat about what you are looking for and your lifestyle.

Meet the Pet
We are hopeful you will connect instantly with one of our Sketchy Mutts, you might even have an opportunity to meet us out and about.
Additional adoption info
If we all agree that a current Sketchy Mutt might be a good fit, we will bring him to your home and introduce him to your dogs, cats, and human family members. If all goes well and everyone (including your animals) is in agreement, you will start a one-week (minimum) trial adoption. We want you to live day in, day out with the dog to see what it would really be like to bring him into your family. If at any point during the trial adoption you decide its not a good match, the dog goes back to his foster home.

We are dedicated to saving the lives of dogs who are at high risk of euthanasia in area shelters, due to behavioral issues, medical conditions, or overcrowding. We are primarily a foster-based organization, although we have the ability to temporarily house dogs in our facility until foster or forever homes can be found.
