My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ouzo and Raki are 4 year old bonded brothers who are being surrendered to Sunshine's Friends because their people are moving to Greece for work, and sadly, they can not go. They are wonderful companions to each other and to their humans. These boys are definitely lap cats!!! They love to sit in your lap when you watch TV, they will sit for rubs and scratches till your hand gets tired.

They even like to get on work Zoom calls if the door isn’t closed!!! By night, they love to sleep with you at the foot of the bed; and by day, they are playful and chase each other around the house!! They love their cat toys, and you will find toys at the foot of the bed most mornings!!

Greenies are their favorite treats, and they come running when they hear the bag shaking. Ouzo and Raki are very good about using their litter boxes and never had an accident. They are also good about using their scratch posts. Their parents are sending their scratching post, toys, and litter pans with them, so their transition to a new home will be easier for them.

Why adopt bonded kitties? Adopting a bonded pair of cats or kittens offers numerous benefits, primarily centered around the increased happiness and well-being of the cats themselves. Bonded pairs are more likely to be better adjusted and less prone to behavioral issues because they have a built-in social support system and can engage in natural feline behaviors like grooming, playing, and sleeping together. There are also many benefits to the adopters.
