Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update from Ronan’s foster mom (4-27-25): Ronan is a gentle giant. He wants to be able to see his human all the time. If I leave the room and go to the back of the house, he will lie down so he can see all the way down the hall to wait. He loves to go on car rides and will ask to go by circling the car and stopping at each door. He is a great passenger.
Ronan is fed in his kennel, so he and his foster sister are separated. He will wait in the kennel while I get his food. He takes treats gently from your hand. He likes being inside more than outside. He will go out, take care of business, and come right back and ask to come in. Ronan needs to continue work on leash walking. He gets along well with my dog, Autumn, who is smaller than him. Autumn has some heeler in her and will nip at his back legs. He does not like that at all. He lets her know to back off, but there is no aggression. Ronan is housebroken. Trust is a big issue for Ronan; he needs to have time to adjust to new surroundings. His new family will need to be patient with him while he settles in. He will wait until he is given permission to eat. He is very food motivated.
He is a sweet, easygoing boy and will ask to be loved on.
Wait until you see Ronan! This very handsome, easy going, big, blue boy with a docked tail is 8 yrs young and loves everyone he meets. Ronan was surrendered by his family who could no longer care for him. Ronan lived with another Weim and would be fine with big dogs, small dogs and children of all ages. Cats unknown. Ronan is housebroken, okay left free roaming and loves to go on long walks. If you are looking for a new family member, Ronan is your guy!!!!
