Well, gee whiz! It’s me, Butters! I had a pretty great life up until a few months ago, when my pawrent passed away in a car accident. I found myself in the shelter, and now I’m living it up in foster care while I look for my next forever family. I’m 10 years young — but don’t let that number fool ya! I still love to run, roll over, and play with toys (or sometimes absolutely nothing at all). My foster meowmy says I’m “such a good boy,” and I just blush and say, “Aw, hamburgers!” When I’m not being adorably silly, you’ll find me curled up on a lap or snuggled close while we watch TV. I used to have a best kitty buddy I loved to snuggle with, but he passed away awhile back. These days, I prefer that other cats respect my personal bubble — especially when I’m hangry — but I can coexist with them just fine if they give me a little space. I get along splendidly with the resident senior lab, and I’d be just peachy with kiddos, too. They think I might have something called IBD, so my tummy can be a little sensitive. My stool is soft and I sometimes throw up, but I’ll be starting a once-a-day medication that should help me feel right as rain! To adopt a pet, we encourage you to visit the Pet Adoption Center as often as you like. You will be asked to fill out an adopton application and speak to a staff member who will help you make your selection. We are happy to keep your information on file and work with you to the best of our ability to help you find the perfect pet. Adoption fees are $60.00 this includes, spay or neuter, microchip, worming, some vaccinations, and heartworm test for. We offer a feline leukemia test for $15.00 non refundable at the time of adoption.
