My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Well, gee whiz! It’s me, Butters!
I had a pretty great life up until a few months ago, when my pawrent passed away in a car accident. I found myself in the shelter, and now I’m living it up in foster care while I look for my next forever family. I’m 10 years young — but don’t let that number fool ya! I still love to run, roll over, and play with toys (or sometimes absolutely nothing at all). My foster meowmy says I’m “such a good boy,” and I just blush and say, “Aw, hamburgers!”
When I’m not being adorably silly, you’ll find me curled up on a lap or snuggled close while we watch TV. I used to have a best kitty buddy I loved to snuggle with, but he passed away awhile back. These days, I prefer that other cats respect my personal bubble — especially when I’m hangry — but I can coexist with them just fine if they give me a little space. I get along splendidly with the resident senior lab, and I’d be just peachy with kiddos, too.
They think I might have something called IBD, so my tummy can be a little sensitive. My stool is soft and I sometimes throw up, but I’ll be starting a once-a-day medication that should help me feel right as rain!
If you’re looking for a sweet, funny, and endlessly lovable little guy who’s basically the feline version of “Oh gee whiz, I’m doing my best!”, then I’m your Butters.
