Introducing DIVA... DOB est 4/17/2024, female, gray tabby, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped...

This beautiful young girl & several feline family members were rescued from the streets in December. When undergoing vetting it was thought they'd return, thus the ear tip, however most were too sweet and needed safe indoor homes! DIVA is initially a shy girl with new people and surroundings, but warms up quickly. Once comfortable, she spends a good bit of time rolling over begging with her beautiful golden eyes for belly rubs! She gets so excited when taking all the pets she can, her constant movements make it hard to take photos - but what a gorgeous girl when they're captured! DIVA is good with other cats and as a youngster, she does need to either join a Family where another playful young cat already lives, or to be adopted with a friend from her foster home. Please EMAIL info@ffhsv.org to arrange a time to meet her or Apply at the Link above!

More about this rescue

Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a 501-(3)(c) non-profit charitable organization. Our primary purpose is to manage the feral cat population in our area by trapping, neutering/spaying and re-releasing (TNR) cats back into their original territories. We also work to provide safe temporary homes for cats that are homeless, unwanted, abandoned or lost. Some of our animals have been rescued from dangerous conditions and cannot be released back to their original territory...these animals are housed in foster homes until permanent loving homes can be found. The majority of these animals are friendly abandoned pets, that are not feral, and we offer these loving and grateful animals for adoption at Petsmart in Jones Valley, Huntsville, AL. We also provide help to people who are elderly, disable, financially challenged and those who love their animals but cannot provide them with the necessary care.

Our Mission...

(1) Control feral cat populations through neutering/spaying
(2) Educate the public about about proper pet care and responsibility, especially neutering/spaying and advising about pet behavior and medical issues that often result in families giving up their pets
(3) Humanely remove and relocate ferals when possible
(4) Adopt out loving, grateful animals into permanent forever homes
(5) Raise necessary funds to build a shelter for rescued cats
